Suffolk Locum Service

Suffolk GP Federation, in collaboration with Suffolk LMC and the two Suffolk ICBs manages the Suffolk Locum Service.

The aim is to create a pool of Suffolk based GPs who are willing to provide locum cover for local practices.

Practices are given access to an online portal that allows them to advertise and book GP sessions completely free of charge.

Locums that use the service can apply for sessions directly and also have access to a range of resources and professional support.

We very much hope it will become an integral part of how GP practices and locums work together in the future.
