Salaried GP or Partner

Angel Hill Surgery are looking to recruit an experienced salaried GP or partner working 6 sessions per week. 

We are a training practice located in the centre of Bury St Edmunds with a patient population of 14,250. We have 5 partners, 4 salaried GPs and 3 ACPs as well as GP trainees. 3 of our current partners were GP trainees at the Practice. We are supported by our excellent practice nurses and paramedics as well as a fully staffed dispensary, reception, admin and clinical pharmacy team. We are active members of the Bury St Edmunds PCN. 

We are rated ‘Good’ by the CQC and score highly on our QOF every year.

We are a S1 practice using a mixture of face to face, telephone and e.consult appointments. The vast majority of our home visits are managed by our visiting ACP. 

We are a cohesive and supportive team who work well together and enjoy each other’s company. The clinical staff meet every morning and afternoon for informal chat and tea/coffee. We organise regular social events in the summer and at Christmas involving all staff. We are a Parkrun practice and have a presence at some of their events. 

We provide a staff welfare service which is available for use by all staff as well as immediate family. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic new team member to join us and would welcome informal visits from applicants at our daily team coffee break.

For Salaried GPs we offer a competitive rate, negotiable dependent upon roles and responsibilities, patient list and share of on call commitments.

For Partnership applicants we would offer access to practice accounts at an appropriate stage of the recruitment process.
