Suffolk LMC represents all GPs and welcomes any applicable GP standing for election.
Nominations shall be by two doctors who shall be practitioners entitled to vote in the constituency for which the candidate is nominated.
In the event of more than one candidate being nominated for a particular constituency, voting papers will be sent out to practitioners in the relevant constituency, along with a short personal statement from candidates, on Tuesday 1 March.
Candidates may wish to prepare a statement of not more than 50 words, which will be requested in the event of a vote in their constituency and this should be sent to me by email.
A paper detailing the Roles and Responsibilities of LMC Committee members is attached for your information.
The Suffolk LMC meets on the second Thursday of each month from 7.30pm – 9.30pm, except January and August. These meetings are currently virtual but may return to face-to-face depending on the Covid situation.
