Up to 8 sessions per week | Full-time or part-time considered
The Peninsula Practice, Suffolk
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed Salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive team at The Peninsula Practice on a fixed-term basis.
We have up to 8 sessions per week available
We are very happy to be flexible in how these sessions are filled and would welcome applications from GPs looking for anything from 4 to 8 sessions per week. The post could therefore suit one GP looking for an 8-session working week, or potentially two GPs wishing to work approximately 4 sessions each.
About us
The Peninsula Practice is a friendly rural practice serving communities across the beautiful Suffolk peninsula.
We operate across three sites:
We are a mixed dispensing and non-dispensing practice, with dispensaries operating from two of our sites.
Our established clinical team currently includes 2 GP Partners and 5 Salaried GPs, supported by a highly skilled and experienced nursing team and wider multidisciplinary workforce.
We pride ourselves on providing support and a ‘can do’ approach within our practice team, encouraging everyone to be a leader, and in turn to be able to provide high-quality, patient-centred care to our rural population. We work closely and collaboratively with our PCN and wider community services,
The role
We are looking for a GP who enjoys being part of a collaborative practice team and who is committed to delivering high-quality general practice.
The successful candidate will undertake the usual range of GP responsibilities, including:
We appreciate that GPs increasingly value flexibility and a sustainable work-life balance, so we are very happy to have a conversation about how the available sessions could work for the right candidate(s).
What we can offer
About you
We would be delighted to hear from GPs who are enthusiastic, approachable and enjoy working collaboratively.
Applicants should hold full GMC registration and be included on the NHS England Medical Performers List.
Whether you are an experienced GP, looking for a change of environment, returning to practice, or looking for a fixed-term opportunity that offers some flexibility around your existing commitments, we would be very happy to hear from you.
Interested?
Informal enquiries and visits are warmly welcomed. We would be very happy to have an informal conversation about the role, the available sessions and how these could potentially be structured to suit both the successful candidate and the needs of the practice.
