About the Practice

Two Rivers Medical Centre, a large, high-performing practice based in Ipswich, Suffolk, is seeking a Salaried GP to join our friendly and diverse clinical team. This is a replacement post offering 4–6 sessions per week, with flexibility on working days.
We are a single-site, purpose-built practice delivering high-quality primary care services to over 29,000 patients. Our patient population is diverse and predominantly working-age, offering an engaging chronic disease and screening workload. We operate with:

• 4 GP partners and 11 salaried GPs
• A large nursing, paramedic, and medicine management team
• 40+ non-clinical staff
• SystmOne clinical system
• Excellent QoF results
• Accurx Triage

We prioritise team wellbeing, with daily coffee breaks, low admin burdens, and structured support systems including workflow management, signposting, and clinical mentoring.

Your Role

• Conducting face-to-face, telephone, and home visit consultations
• Supporting QOF, audits, and clinical governance
• Prescribing and referral management
• Participating in team meetings and service development
• Collaborating with our multidisciplinary team, including nurse practitioners, HCAs, mental health professionals, and trainees
• Duty doctor and Triage work

What We’re Looking For

• GMC-registered, fully qualified GP
• On the NHSE medical performers list
• Committed to quality, learning, and teamwork
• Skilled in chronic disease management and preventative care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

About the Location

Our surgery is located close to Ipswich Hospital, easily accessible with good local amenities and transport links. Ipswich offers a great mix of urban and coastal living with excellent schools and outdoor opportunities.
